The tram system of Porto, Portugal is operated by the Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos do Porto (STCP) and currently has three regular routes and one tourist route. All are heritage tram routes, as they use vintage tramcars exclusively. Tram fares are paid with the Andante travel card. Each ride costs 1 Euro.

Para viajar nas linhas do eléctrico tem de ter um cartão Andante Z2 e tem um custo de 1,00€ por viagem. A aquisição de um cartão Andante custa 0,50€.

Porto war die erste Stadt Portugals, die den elektrischen Straßenbahnverkehr einführte. Bereits 1895 nahm die erste Linie den Betrieb auf (Lissabon: 1901). Im Jahr 1950 erreichte das Straßenbahnnetz von Porto mit einer Streckenlänge von 182 Kilometern seine größte Ausdehnung.
Seit den 1960er Jahren wurden immer mehr Straßenbahnlinien durch Busse ersetzt. Bis 2007 schrumpfte das Straßenbahnnetz auf zwei kleine, vor allem von Touristen genutzte Linien zusammen. Die Obus-Linien wurde ebenfalls auf Dieselbusse umgestellt.
