Footage From Friday 6th April 2012, two days after the opening of the new £100 million upgrade to the Blackpool & Fleetwood Tramway. The upgrade consists of new track work and overhead wiring, platform style tram stops and the introduction of a fleet of brand new, state of the art easy access Flexity 2 trams. A number of 'Heritage Trams' have been retained along with illuminated trams to form part of the Promenade Heritage Tram Tour Route.
