The green trams have been running in Hanover since 1974. The Hanover tram is a mixture of underground and tram. With their striking color, "the Greens" have helped shape Hanover's cityscape. Today, 147 green TW 6000s are still in use. From the end of 2013, the brand new TW 3000 series will be available in the exterior colors green, silver and black.
