Description

Taking the vintage Sóller tram between Sóller Town and Port de Sóller is a real treat. It's not the cheapest way to get up or down the hill - that would be walking, and it'll take you between 45mins and an hour, but it is certainly the quicker and more fun way! Simply, jump aboard a tram (leaving every 30 minutes from either the rear of Sóller Train Station, or, at the other end, the tram stop towards the middle of the long bay), cough up your 7 Euros to the ticket person, and enjoy the ride!

I don't think there's any more enjoyable way of getting around than by rail, and doing it on a vintage engine (in this case, the tram is electric) takes it up a serious notch.
