In these weeks, Siemens and Aarsleff Rail As are in the process of building and installing a so-called hydraulic lifting street and a huge roof platform for the maintenance of the future light rail trains – equipment that is absolutely vital for the light rail operation.
The work platform, which is located above the workshop trench, will make it easy for the light rail operator, Metro Service, to access the equipment placed on top of the light rail trains. And the hydraulic liftgate will make it easier for the operator to access the train's undercarriage from below 🛠️
