Description
Today I'm taking you on the Schmöckwitzer Uferbahn. The route from the Grünau S-Bahn station to Alt-Schmöckwitz was opened in 1912 and is still one of the most beautiful tram routes in Germany.
Today the Uferbahn is served by line 68, which starts at the Köpenick S-Bahn station and continues through the old town of Köpenick and then via Grünauerstrasse and Regattastrasse to the Grünau S-Bahn station. From here it follows the historic route of the Uferbahn to Alt-Schmöckwitz.
