On May 1, 2024, after an interruption of almost three years, the outer line of the Hanover Tram Museum in Wehmingen is back in service. After the theft of the catenary, electric operation with trams was no longer possible. It was only thanks to many generous donations and the dedicated work of the association's members that the historic trams could run over the fields again.
My voluntary work at the tram museum in Hanover is a nice change from my daily work as a driver. I can ride old trams there in my spare time - and maybe you can too!
