Description
On April 23, the European Tram Driver Championship was held in Berlin at the BVG Lichtenberg depot. Tram drivers from 17 countries in 27 teams of two had to prove themselves in various competitions such as "tram bowling", "lateral distance", "target braking", "hidden speedometer" and "exact stop". This year's winners of the European Championship were the tram drivers from Budapest. The best German team was the team from Leipzig, which came in second place. Flexity Berlin and Tatra KT4D trams were used in the competition. Impressions of this event can be seen in this video.
