Description
In April 2006, the Mannheim public transport driving school invited us (5 tram drivers from Berlin) to drive ourselves. It was organized by a colleague of ours who had been driving in Mannheim for two years. And since the head of the driving school knew him very well, this special trip was made possible for us. And so we drove a 6MGT on the Rhein-Haardt railway and a Variobahn on the OEG circuit. Everyone was allowed to drive both types of vehicle for around 25 minutes. In this video, I am sitting at the setpoint transmitter. Thanks again to the two driving instructors and to the Mannheim public transport company.
