London bilevel rail car 1395, signed Blackfriars via Camberwell.
Description
London trams picked up electric current in two different ways: from a live wire overhead, or from live rails beneath the road.
Was a point at which they changed from one system to the other. No. 1395 is seen leaving on overhead, after its 'plough' - the pich-up device which ran in a slot between the rails - had been detached here.
