Before January 1st, 1928: Aarhus Elektriske Sporvej (AES).

Track gauge: 1000 mm (meter gauge).
Opened: July 7th, 1904.
Closed: August 22nd, 1944 because of World War II.
Reopened: July 18th, 1945.
Closed: November 6th, 1971.

The night between August 21st and 22nd, 1944, the depot was blown up by German henchmen. All trams were destroyed.
